Rear Brake Shenanigans
Long story-short. The original cable operated rear brake does not work with the Kawasaki wheel, the cable position is wrong. So I went to the wreckers and bought a brake rod, bolted it through the foot lever and used a shorter drum lever and it seems to work ok. One downside is now the kickstart lever interferes with it, so a little more cut n shut is needed!

Potentiometer wiring to DC-DC step up converter
How do I wire the potentiometer (top pic) to the DC-DC converter (lower pic) three right-hand wires labelled POT1? So I can increase the output voltage to 12 volts.....
I wired the potentiometer up to the converter exactly in the same order. Left to left etc etc. But the pot does nothing in changing the output voltage. So am guessing it is wired wrong?

Some electrical gremlins SORTED
Pulled the headlight housing off so I could have a good gander at the wiring, as the instrument lights in the gauge cluster are not working.
The main positive wire that completes this circuit was not connected - so now it works. The high beam light was also not connected - so now it is! So once I fire up the engine again hopefully all the lights will work! Tail light now works also - night test rides are now go!Will have to wait till after work to do that!
