Yamaha TT600 supermoto finito

I fitted some Honda XR400 motard wheels to my TT600 after quite a degree of effort. Very happy with the result.

TT600 starting problems....

TT600 starting problem seems to be sorted now after installing an earth wire to the starter...

Yamaha TT600 hubs ready for supermoto / motard treatment

Hubs are painted, new bearings fitted and are now ready for the 17 inch treatment.....

Before - Building Supermoto wheels

The TT600 has a 17mm front & 20mm rear axle. So I decided to try and track down some TT hubs and as luck would have it a guy who happens to only live only five-minutes from my house put them up on ebay !!! Plus the rear is cush drive and for some reason the TT600 I bought has a non-cush drive rear wheel....
Paid $200 for the pair with knacked rims, but thats great because I'm going to have 17s laced to them.
Cost from Spoked Wheels services here in Perth is around $1400 with black rims.
Will replace the bearings and paint the hubs.....

After removing the bearings and degreasing they are now ready for paint. Not sure what colour?

Honda XR400M wheels - will they fit Yamaha TT600E ?

Axle size is 17mm . XR disc is 9mm larger in diameter, PCD is the same but XR has two more holes (damn it)...But TT600 has 17 front & 20 rear so, I decided not to go with these wheels as I will still have to sink $1000 to get them to fit........so no.....
