Crispy #01

Crispy #01 will be my own personal project, a vintage 'supermoto' with some modern crisp! At the moment I have an unbuilt pair of Geinhart Supermoto wheels measuring 3.5" x 17 and 5" x 17. First step will be to build the front wheel, thats the 3.5 inch rim.

Pictured above is an unassembled front wheel consisting of a rim, a hub, 18 long spokes, 18 short spokes and 36 nipples.

What Crispy Cycles does...

Hi there, I'm Chris of 'Crispy Cycles', I design and build custom motorcycles with just the right amount of 'CRISP'. I have experience and qualifications in both product design and mechanical engineering. The aim is to build bikes that don't cost a fortune but are still distinctive.

I have been into motorcycles since I was a teenager and have been involved in the design and construction of trucks, rubber components and all manner of mineral process equipment in my working life.

I love nothing more than sitting down with a sketch pad and pencilling out a concept, then figuring out how it can be made by using various CAD programs or even making mock-up parts and scale models. Then I'll oversee the parts being made (if I cannot make them myself) and then, because I like nothing more than getting my hands dirty, I will make the parts fit together in perfect harmony.
